Prepare for the Ch. 18 test on combining sentences and revising paragraphs by completing the HW pages passed out yesterday in class.

-making compound sentences and punctuating them correctly

-making compound subjects and/or predicates

-inserting phrases

-inserting subordinate clauses

-avoiding stringy and sentences

You were to grab 6 worksheets that specifically review the concepts that will appear on the test.  You can find the PDF of the HW on NetClassroom.

For any additional sheets you grabbed, you can earn 3% extra credit for each mostly correct and completed sheet.  Even though the extra credit will not apply to this grading period, I strongly recommend completing extra credit throughout the year to really see the effect of your extra work.
